They say #imagreatist. (#pinspirationthursday)

If you follow me on Facebook, you've probably seen me link to Greatist. It's an awesome website that churns out a ton of useful health and fitness information. And from a writer's perspective, they do it in a way that's enjoyable and not in the least bit boring. Conversational and cool is the tone, which I think is an awesome way to spread the word about anything. So when they opened applications for their new ambassador program, I obviously sent in mine—and they chose me! I'm a Greatist Ambassador! In their words:

greatist. noun. [gray-tist] a person who makes healthier choices

Greatist Ambassador. super noun. [gray-tist- am-bass-a-door] a person who makes healthier choices and inspires others to do the same

Sweet, right? Call a writer a "super noun" and she'll love you forever. For real. But let's get one thing straight: You don't have to be a Greatist Ambassador to appreciate all that is great, or why being your greatest is important. Or why you can be great no matter what, which brings me to this:

Didja think I forgot that it's also Pinspiration Thursday up in these parts? Nope. Whether you're pushing through plateaus in the gym or rising above personal controversy, you must turn these things into strengths both physical and mental. Trust me, it's possible. And so worth it.

Now, go. Prove to the world that you're a Greatist. Follow me on Twitter, join in the conversation and use #imagreatist whenever you do something that makes you great and wonderful (and healthy and fit, etc.).

Question: What have you done lately that made you want to shout "I am great!" to anyone willing to listen?
