Link Love: Healthy Tipping Point

Social physique anxiety (SPA) is a mental condition that can often lead to an excessive, almost obsessive dependence on exercise. Individuals who suffer from SPA are constantly self-conscious, always wondering what the people around them are thinking about their physical appearance. And while we all have a bit of SPA on occasion, it's when the condition leads to withdrawal (or an overdependence on exercise) that it becomes an official problem. Now, I can't diagnose SPA in anyone, but I can help you overcome those moments where life is just fat. You have those moments, right? Fat days? Well, get over them. And I say that with all my heart! What is commonly referred to as "Fat Talk" is just plain silly. And toxic. And you don't deserve it because you are, in fact, truly beautiful.

Caitlin argues this point on her blog, Healthy Tipping Point. And through Operation Beautiful, her positive thoughts movement that is taking the country by storm "one post-it note at a time." She's a fellow fit lifer dedicated to living a happy, healthy life free of negative thoughts and she speaks out very passionately about the fact that "54% of women would rather be hit by a truck than be fat." It's a fact that she took from the following video:

And it's that video that has inspired her to spread positivity through Operation Beautiful. It all started with a post-it note on which she had written a positive, healthy message and it took off from there.

Now, guys. I know what you're thinking. Of course, she tends to focus on women, but that doesn't mean you're exempt from the message. Body image is important—bad body image is completely toxic. To all of my readers, I urge you to embrace Caitlyn's message. And next time you hit the gym, remember the following:

I couldn't help but get involved.

Question: What Operation Beautiful message will you put on a post-it note, and where will you place that post-it note?
