WIN THIS: A necklace from Fashletics!

Sarah at Fashletics sent me the sweet little piece of jewelry you see above. It surely is a running shoe, and she hand-crafted it out of solid pewter. Fabulous, right? And how great is her "Live. Love. Lift." tagline? They're words that represent the fit life, for sure. Sarah hopes that "when you wear Fashletics jewelry, you will be reminded of your hard work, your physical and mental accomplishments, and the community of athletes and friends that are behind you every step of the way." And I hope you know that I, too am behind you every step of the way.

Lucky for you, Sarah is willing to send a running shoe necklace your way—just in time for the holidays! What could possibly be a better gift for yourself than a piece of jewelry that happens to be "an expression of strength and a badge of honor"? You'll want to check out her entire collection, for sure. You never know what you'll find for that fit person on your list of people that need presents. From keychains to kettlebell necklaces...

...she's got it all, and it's all wonderfully priced.

And so, let's get right down to it. If you'd like to win the running shoe necklace just like the one Sarah sent me, leave a comment below and tell me what your current "expression of strength and badge of honor" is. "Like" Daily Dose (if you haven't already) and Fashletics on Facebook for extra chances to win. Contest ends at midnight on Friday, December 17, 2010. The winner will be chosen at random and announced on Sunday, December 19, 2010. Best of luck!

My Chicago half marathon baseball hat. Motivating when I put it on, but not as easy to wear as this necklace would be!

Liking Fashletics as soon as I'm done typing.

Plain and simple DNA removal. Love love love when I get my sweat on! That alone motivates me and keeps me working. I know good things are happening!

My 3rd place medal from my first half-marathon. I subbed two hours, smashing my goal time, and then placed! Getting up on that stage and having a medal placed around my shoulders made the whole experience like something out of a dream. I also love my mantra, tattooed on my inner forearm: untie the ribbon - every day is a gift, every moment, even the challenging moments; come bearing gifts, we just must open our eyes, or untie the ribbon to the gift within. unleash your potential!

I have a tattoo that says strength is beauty. It constantly reminds me to live my life to the fullest, and that it isnt about looking like a twig thin model but being beautiful and strong just the way I am.

My expression of strength is:
'Never give up, and always get up.' When life knocks you done, stand up straight and proud. And never let anybody make you lose sight of what's important.
I absolutely love the necklace, and I would love to wear it under my gear when playing ice hockey. I'm the only girl on an otherwise all male team, and I think it would be a reminder of the values I strive for.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Remembering those people that told me that I couldn't do it motivates me beyond my own strength especially the guy that told me I was too fat to run. Their ignorance is my motivation to be the best that I can be and strive for excellence despite the adversity.
