To some, veggies don't sound good.

But in this case, they sound great:

Flippin' sweet, right? I mean, we all know that vegetables play a pretty big role in balanced diets everywhere—but a pretty big role in a ten-person orchestra? I'm loving it. Absolutely loving it.

This group calls themselves the Vegetable Orchestra (appropriate). They scour the markets to make new instruments before each and every performance which, in my opinion, makes them doubly talented. (Could you carve a flute out of a carrot? I certainly couldn't.) My question: What happens to the instruments after their performance? Do they eat them? I guess we'll never know. But they serve vegetable soup as an encore.

You can find the Vegetable Orchestra on iTunes if you feel so inclined. They have three CDs out, their newest is called Onionoise. But remember this one thing: just because you listen to your vegetables doesn't mean you can skip eating them. Nutrients cannot travel on sound waves!

Oh, AND—be sure to come back tomorrow for your chance to win...well, you'll just have to wait and see!

Question: If you were in a vegetable orchestra, what "instrument" would you play? Or, what's your favorite vegetable?
