My 3rd place medal from my first half-marathon. I subbed two hours, smashing my goal time, and then placed! Getting up on that stage and having a medal placed around my shoulders made the whole experience like something out of a dream. I have a tattoo that says strength is beauty. It constantly reminds me to live my life to the fullest, and that it isnt about looking like a twig thin model but being beautiful and strong just the way I am.
